Gunday (2013) Official Theatrical Trailer

Finally the much-awaited teaser of Gunday is finally out and we are maha impressed with it
Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer Gunday looks promising. Though we didn’t get to see the Exotic babe, we aren’t complaining coz Singh and Kapoor are a treat to watch in the trailer. The movie is set in 1971 and going by the teaser it looks like director Ali Abbas Zafar has managed to create ‘70s era in his film. While watching the video, Ranveer and Arjun did remind us of Jai (Amitabh Bachchan)and Veeru (Dharmendra) of Sholay. From the background music to Irrfan Khan’s voice over, all most everything syncs well in the first teaser of Gunday. However, the cinematography of Zafar’s film will instantly remind you of Danny Boyle’s Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire – especially during the train scenes. Watch the teaser and you will agree with us.

The film stars Ranveer Singh & Arjun Kapoor, as Bikram and Bala, along with Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan, in lead roles. Based in Calcutta during its most unsettled times in the '70's, the film deals with the inseparable life of Bikram and Bala, who grew from being small time, inconsequential coal thieves, to becoming the most powerful black marketing mafia-men. A story of two happy-go-lucky renegades who came to be known as - GUNDAY.
